The Warehouse Sorting Pain Point
Every delivery driver knows this scene: you're at the warehouse with a pile of packages to log, time is tight, and you keep taking your gloves off and on.
The traditional way: scan one → confirm → exit → open scanner again → scan next. You repeat this for every single package.
Whether you're using Circuit (Spoke), Route4Me, Zeo, Routific, or Onfleet, the workflow is the same: 100 packages = 100 confirm taps.
FlexMesh Continuous Scan
We heard the feedback from drivers. FlexMesh is launching continuous scanning mode — the only delivery app on the market with true continuous scanning:
- No exiting the page: After a successful scan, it automatically prepares for the next one. Just point your phone at the next package. Unlike Circuit or Zeo where you have to exit and reopen every time.
- No confirm taps: AI OCR automatically extracts address info. Successful reads are auto-added, failed reads don't get recorded. Route4Me's "auto scan" still makes you tap confirm — that's only semi-automatic now.
- Real-time count: Screen shows how many you've scanned so you always know your progress.
- Any waybill: Amazon, Intelcom, FedEx, UPS, Purolator — scan any carrier's waybill.
Real-World Usage
Picture this:
You're at the shelf. First, flip all packages so the waybills face up. Then walk along the shelf with your phone. It auto-recognizes, auto-records, auto-prepares for the next one. You'll get a notification when it succeeds — if the angle is off, just adjust slightly. One walk-through and you're done.
Using Google Maps? You have to manually enter 100 addresses. Using Routific? You have to scan and confirm one by one. Using FlexMesh continuous scan? One walk-through and done.
Think about how long you spend scanning 100+ packages every day. Now with FlexMesh continuous scan, your coworkers will think you're lying about your efficiency.
Then tap "Optimize Route" — FlexMesh uses the Superroute engine to sort your stops. Load your car in reverse order and you're set.
Why This Matters
In Canadian package delivery, time is money.
The time you save at the warehouse each day adds up to an extra route per week. That extra route is extra earnings.
Plus, when it's minus 20 outside, spending less time in the warehouse means your fingers will thank you.
When Can You Use It?
Continuous scan is in final testing and expected to launch soon. iOS and Android users will get it through app store updates.
Already using FlexMesh? Keep your app updated — you'll be notified as soon as it drops.
