One Tap to Navigate
You've scanned your packages, optimized your route, and you're ready to deliver. Now what? Copy the address, switch apps, paste it into Google Maps?
Not with FlexMesh.
Tap the navigate button on any stop, and your preferred map app opens instantly with the destination already loaded. No copying. No pasting. No typing.
Choose Your Map App
FlexMesh doesn't force you into one mapping solution. In your settings, you can choose between:
- Google Maps — The default for most Android users
- Apple Maps — The native choice for iPhone users
Set it once, and every navigation tap uses your preferred app. Switching phones? Just update your preference.
How It Works
When you tap navigate on a stop:
- FlexMesh grabs your current GPS location as the starting point
- The delivery address becomes the destination
- Your chosen map app opens with turn-by-turn directions ready to go
The whole process takes less than a second. You're navigating before you even finish putting your seatbelt on.
Smart Address Handling
Not all addresses work equally well in map apps. FlexMesh optimizes how we send addresses to navigation:
- Full address formatting — Street, city, province, postal code, country
- Unit numbers excluded — We don't include apartment or unit numbers in the navigation address because they can confuse map apps and route you to the wrong location
- Fallback to coordinates — If the address is incomplete, we use GPS coordinates instead
This means fewer "address not found" errors and more accurate routing to the actual building.
Why This Matters
Every second counts when you're delivering 150+ packages a day. Here's what seamless navigation saves you:
- 5-10 seconds per stop — No more copy-paste-switch routine
- Zero typos — Addresses go directly from your route to the map app
- Fewer wrong turns — Optimized address formatting reduces map app errors
Over a full day, that's 15-25 minutes of time saved — time you could spend on more deliveries or getting home earlier.
Works on Both Platforms
Whether you're on iOS or Android, FlexMesh navigation works the same way:
iOS Users:
- Apple Maps available as default
- Google Maps available if installed
- Seamless handoff to your chosen app
Android Users:
- Google Maps as the standard choice
- Other navigation apps supported through standard Android intents
No Internet Required for Basic Navigation
Once your map app has the destination, it handles navigation independently. If you've downloaded offline maps for your delivery area, you can navigate even in spotty coverage zones — parking garages, rural areas, or downtown canyons where signal drops.
Setting Your Preference
To choose your map app:
- Open FlexMesh
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Find "Map Preference"
- Select Apple Maps or Google Maps
- Save
That's it. Every future navigation tap will use your selection.
Integration, Not Replacement
FlexMesh doesn't try to be a navigation app. We're a route planning and delivery management tool. For actual turn-by-turn navigation, we hand off to the apps that do it best — Apple Maps and Google Maps.
This means you get:
- Familiar navigation interface
- Real-time traffic updates from your map app
- Voice guidance in your preferred language
- All the features your map app already offers
